I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the incredible service I received from your Tires Plus store last weekend. I was traveling through Minnesota on my way home to New York. Of course I was on a tight schedule. Then I experienced the traveler's nightmare my Ford Windstar started smoking and leaking anti freeze. I feared the worst. Where would I find a service station on Sunday? Could I find an honest mechanic who wouldn't take advantage of a stranded motorist? I pulled off the freeway at the Rogers exit. Luckily, I rolled in to your store and was delighted to find it open and staffed with a mechanic. One problem solved. I still wasn't sure about being treated fairly. However your technician George took care of problem number two. He was very friendly, and looked at my car right away. George identified a part that had melted and was leaking coolant. Your staff made a valiant effort to get me back on the road. Alas, there were no parts warehouses open on Sunday that carried the particular part that I needed. Here's the part that really impressed me. Your salesman Matt called a local hotel, found a room for me, and had one of his technicians give me a ride to the hotel. I was desperate to get back on the road ASAP. Matt assured me that they would be able to source a part the following morning. 1 got a phone call the next morning from your staff letting me know what the exact price of the repair would be (very reasonable). They also told me that they had found the part and would be able to complete the fairly lengthy repair by about noon. At 11: 3 0 1 received another call stating that my car was ready and that they would send someone over to pick me up.
It's never fun to have an unexpected car repair in an area that you're not familiar with. However, your staff was so professional, so courteous, and so efficient, that I am glad the problem happened where and when it did.
Please give Matt and George my appreciation.
